During the chemical processing, silver and dye are formed in the colour developer (CD) first, then the silver that is no longer required is oxidized and removed from the paper during the bleach-fixing (BX) process. In the subsequent water or stabilizer bath, all components that could negatively affect the durability of the print are washed out.
Up to 40,000 Photo Prints / h
Highlights
Best with fastPrint 20
The Variable Speed Processor VSP 50 develops exposed silver halide paper rolls without a leaderbelt and is notable for its reliable processing and ease of use. The inline connection with fastPrint 20 allows a significant increase in photo lab productivity. VSP 50 was specially developed for the large-scale production of photo prints.

fastPrint 20
VSP 50 is capable to connect with two high-speed exposure units fastPrint 20 at the same time which significantly increases the photo lab productivity to up to 40,000 prints in 4x6" (10x15 cm) per hour.
Two-lane Production
Two fastPrint 20 can be connected inline to one VSP 50. Both lanes are independently driven and controlled.
Advantages
1. One track can be run by 50 m/min while the paper on the other track is being processed at much slower speed.
2. One track operates normally while the other track is switched off for maintenance.
Paper Transport System
The unique slide system allows variable speed while maintaining a constant processing time. As result, the path length changes according to the automatically determined speed. The upper rollers are below solution surface. And the lower roller can be raised above upper rollers for easy maintenance and simple
leader threading.
